Recalling our childhood, there are often small things that remind us of the warmest and most carefree times of our lives. It could be a TV show, a game played with friends, or even a simple item like a keycap keyring. Often used as a fun fidget or sensory toy, keycap keyrings were part of many Appenzeller RC students’ childhood memories. Therefore, to bring back those carefree moments and give students a chance to feel the ease of childhood again, Appenzeller House held the “Keycap Keyring Studio” program.

On May 6, 15 Zellers gathered in Veritas Hall B to create their own uniquely designed fidgets. Choosing from a variety of colors, figures, and placement options, each keycap keyring became different from the others. The process was not only about creativity, but also about expressing oneself through a simple item.

After the program, each student left with a great memory and a small toy reminding them of both Appenzeller House and their childhood.
